There is no other conference like APEX. It’s our signature event of the year and the ultimate expression of the American Pharmacies value proposition. APEX is three days of independent-focused education, networking and fun. Nowhere else will you find such a feeling of community, high-value content and invaluable opportunities to share, learn and grow.
What's Different About APEX?
Pharmacy conferences come in all sizes and styles. Many are heavy on CE and learning; others cater more toward social interaction and entertaiment. At American Pharmacies, we seek a balance between fun, learning and meaningful peer interaction.
Core Elements of APEX:
- High-quality, independent-focused CE, often on subjects you won’t find at other conferences: our CE sessions focus on pharmacy growth and excellence, diversification of revenue, new clinical opportunities and important advocacy issues.
- Compelling speakers: our keynotes have included retired Navy leader and best-selling author Mike Abrashoff; Tony Brigmon, former Ambassador of Fun for Unted Airlines; and U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter of Georgia, pharnacists and leading acongressional advocacte for PBM reform.
- Significant interaction with APRx staff and Cencora representatives: breakut sessions on marketing, audits, Elevate issues and business coaching; staff-driven training and consulations.
- High-powered vendors: We have no trouble attracting exhibitors to APEX, but we screen them carefully for both value and commitment to independent pharmacy. You’ll find 40-50 select vendors: enough to give you lots of meaninful options, but a manageable number to navigate during exhibit hours.
- FUN! We’ve got a golf tournament at pro-caliber courses, receptions and a themed Saturday night banquet with live entertainment. Our hotels offer golf, spas, water parks and close proximty to major attractions like Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld and the downtown Alamo/River Walk area.
But the singular quaity of APEX that sets it apart from other conferences is the strong sense of community that the event builds each year.
